Key buzzer

What causes a key buzzer to continually sound with or without the key in ignition when door is open?

You will have to open up the steering column to see why the switch isn't working properly.

my 70 was doing that. i sprayed some wd-40 in the lock and worked the key in and out and it stopped mine. the tumblers get stuck and need to be freed up.
