Help finding a new engine!!!
Hey guys, just want to say reading alot of your posts has helped me out in the past. I got my new American Racing Wheels because of the big sale at Sear's...thanks to you! And various other problems I've been having have been answered because of you guys...Well I was hoping you would help me with something else...
I have a 77 corvette and its one fast car, but i'm looking for some more performance. I'm thinking a 383 stroker engine, and I want over 400 horsepower...If anybody could tell me of a good engine (doesn't have to be those specs, just something that will give me good performance, but for a daily driver) or a good deal on an engine, that would be greatly appreciated!

Check your local papers in your area and also open the yellow pages and call the engine rebuilders you will be amazed at how many people order engines then change thier mines or run out of money and do not pick-up thier engines or you can just order a crate engine.

Many on the forum have strokers, and many are very happy with them. I would search through the archives for information on the company or start up a separate thread asking for people's opinion of their products.
