Default What is this? Something vacuum?


What's this... where my finger points. The water hose to the windshield wiper connects to what ever that is. I am pretty sure it does not belong there. However, wonder what that goes to in the first place.

What colors are the wires on the connector? What year?

Perhaps it turns off the pump motor if fluid pressure is zero (WSW fluid tank is empty), or maybe turns on a low fluid warning light?

Are you sure your windshield washer hooks to this? I think it is the vacuum switch that controls the torque converter lock up.

Looks like there is an aftermarket one mounted above it also.

Seasoned80 was right. That is the vacuum switch for the lockup torque converter control.
