True 1969 427 Vette
I am curently looking at a 1969 Corvette that the owner says was a 427/390. He changed the motor and now has a 350 in it. My questoin is this. How can I make sure this is a Big Block car, it has the L88 hood, 4speed, AC and T-tops. Is there anything I can look for that would tell me this was at one time a 427/390.

Butch, I just went through something very similar. I was trying to verify that the car I bought was also a BB. Here is a link to my post on it. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=289949 Good luck and hopefully some of the folks that helped me can also help you. From what I learned, which is all second hand, a couple of the things you want to look for are:
1. On the rear differential, check for a cap holding on the halfshafts instead of a U bolt
2. Check for a rear sway bar
