Sounds nice....what made you go for a single setup rather than a true dual? Wouldnt the single be more restrictive?
Well it's kinda a long story, but when it was my dads car he put a blow threw intake turbo on it, with custum mandrel exhaust. The turbo never ran right because it was a display model, so he parked it. Over ten years later i got it and after the turbo caught fire I yanked it and put a performer intake on it some C4 stock headers my buddy gave me & another buddy who works at a muffler shop fabbed me up a good cheap y-pipe into the single 3" into the fake duals. So I parked for another half decade or so. Recently decided to get it out n hop it up having had a few other projects under my belt, but still being a budget minded project. I decided that a single 3" is enough to support 400hp or so bout 750-800 cfm. Aslo my personal veiw is a single system is less weight, has less heat lose to slow the gases and it was more cost effective. Even I have gone with too big of duals for the power range before. Turned out to be a unique sounding exhaust that I think fits the car well. Plus the fake duals where rusty as heck n I wanted to drop the spare tire/stuff for weight lose. In the start of the vid you can see finger prints all over the nose because I just got it back on from lightening up the front bumper.
edit: Oh the single was a noticable gain over the fake duals!

Dare to be different, man. I've been running a single exhaust on my 427 for years. As we both agree, one big pipe weighs less than two smaller pipes.
