Default 1980 heater vacumm issues

blower and a/c work. air comes from floor vents only. heater core has been replaced. I get a clicking noise near right front of engine when I move control lever to heat( no heat). I have a white marked thin wire coming out of firewall(top center) broke off, don't know where it goes. i have green and black wires coming out of firewall top right with female plug attached to nothing. Help

Vac line came apart fwd of the firewall, right by the distributor. Just happened to me a few weeks ago.

Those are not wires. They are small vacuum hoses.
