That depends on two things. How much power you are puttin out and what type of inserts you have. With the JCLs you won't have any problems. With less power also no problems. But there is always a little (actually turns yellow if chrome. Basically if you keep them cool they won't discolor.

Any chrome header will discolor near the head after a while. Mine turned a noticable gold tint all the way to the side tube which remained like new.
Jet-Hot is the fix :smash: it aint chrome but it's pretty much bullet proof :cheers:
