Default Newby needs help!!

Hi, I have just bought my first Corvette, a 74, it is in fairly good condition but partly stripped out.

How do I get the back of the seats to go forward??? I know there is a button somewhere but I'm buggered if I can find it.

Aaahhhh, another set of '74 seats that were'nt taken back for recall

I think you have to "press" the seat belt interlock button under the hood to get them to come forward or the battery is in too tight.

Welcome Simon,
It is great to know that vette fever is a world wide disease. I had trouble finding the release on my '75 also. Like the guys said, it is on the top of the seatback in the middle.
