Final Engine Swap Update
Edit: Sorry, Between the thrill of driving and all the beer that followed, kinda lost track of taking pics. Still have to route wires a better way so it looks cleaner and put in a hard fuel line instead of a rubber one. This will be done SOON.
After 2 1/2 months and several projects later, I am finally finished with my ZZ4 swap.
In the end, I have a new engine, rebuild tranny, two front wire harness, power steering components, detailed engine bay, trans lines, electric choke, starter, new calipers, new brake lines, and a lot of beer.
Got my calipers and proportioning valve today. Put them on, bled the brakes and have the hardest brake pedal since I've owned it. Too late tonight for a test drive.
Tomorrow, bleed brakes again to see if I can get more air out, make sure everything is tightened down, quick timing check, and take it out for a spin.
I'll take pics/post them tomorrow.
74 freshly washed. Going to clay and wax tomorrow. Wife had other plans today.
