What will fit?
Got a 69 with a Vortec (L31) crate motor hooked to the factory 4-speed. I need an inspection/dust cover for the original bell housing. Anyone have any idea what will fit (motor has the one-piece main seal)?

I've not done it, but recall reading early cover can be tin-snip trimmed to fit later block.
Short of that ... maybe a cover for a later truck/van with manual trans ... about '96-'00 w/ 8th character VIN code "R" ... those have L31 motor.
