The Silver beast had a great night at the strip. The weather was great. 65 degrees and good air. The car was running low 12s in dial in and I was having trouble getting a decent 60 foot. They were running high 1.9s. In my first race I ran 12.09 on a 12.05 dial and won.
The next race I ran 11.92 at 118.6 on a 12.00 dial with a 1.914 60' and lost but who cares the Silver Beast is in the 11s.
The car ran great. I have over 8000 miles on the motor that I built in the garage and it is running great.
As most people that have been following this car know. I have broken many things including read ends and other stuff but last night makes up for a lot of the pain.
I have been trying to get to a test and tune but we have had so much rain last night was the first night in a long time with no rain. :D
Dang those are some great times. What kind of idle do you get with that cam? I ask because of the LSA at 105 and the 101 centerline. I'm slowly building up a 383 and was lookin at a Lunati solid roller 248/252 @.050 and .606/.585 lift with a 110 LSA and 106 intake centerline and was wondering what moving the specs down that 5 degrees does.
Smith, Thats a great running 69 you have! You need some sticky tires! What are your 1/8 mile times? Is your corvette a 4 speed or auto? I here you on broken parts. I blew the spider gears out in my rear end and my clutch last year.:)

The car idles at 900 rpm, and all the vacum stuff works fine. Brakes, headlights and wiper door, it has a mean idle you can tell it is not a stock cam.
Glenn454 The car is a 4sp M-20. The 1/8 mile times are 7.826 @ 94.01 MPH.
