Default Wideband O2 conversions

Thought I'd jump forums since there is more EFI experience here in C3 than in C2. I've finally gotten back to my very long term C2 project (No Flight, www.gregorypage.net) and have gotten the Accel EFI and 8-stack throttle sync close enough it will now idle in closed loop and stay (barely) within the correction window. I'm contemplating converting from the base narow band O2 the system came with (got it many years ago) to a wide band O2. I plan to take it to be dyno tuned, where they would use an external wide band sensor (I have a second bung in the header for a tuning O2 sensor). I'm wondering if converting to a wide band full time would be worthwhile?

I looked at the wide band O2 from Accel, but it has a rather large processor unit that would be challenging to find space for and I don't know that I'd really need/use the data logging capability. I also found Summit Racing has and in-line processor unit (AEM 30-2310 wideband O2 sensor) that would probably be easier to find space for.

I'd be interested in advice from anyone using the Accel Gen7 ECU systems with which they use, narrow or wide band, or who has experience with the AEM inline wide band, as well as general experience with the benefit of a wide band -vs- narrow band over the longer term.

Thanks - Greg
