Winter overhaul problems

Tore my TH350 down last night to find a broken "Spring" ring.
Have found the ring in various exploded diagrams ,but either not numbered
or numbered and not included in the parts index, or no index at all
The piece in question :
After you've pulled the pump assembly out of the case, the very next piece is a waved spring ring setting on top of the intermediate clutch packs.
Looks as if it's used as a spacer betwenn the clutch packs and the pump assembly.
(Row B ,number 105 in the diagram)

Need to find out what this thing is called so I can get a new one.
Anybody know?

The steels are much wider than the ring. The ring sits between the pump housing and the first steel. There is a spring retainer on the pump housing that is a bit higher than the landing where this ring sits. The ring sits outside the diameter of the spring retainer and brings the two surfaces up to the same level so the first steel has a flush surface to press against. If I leave the ring off then it will distort the
spring retainer when clutch preasure is applied.
Will this hurt my pump internals.
I ain't knocking the suggestion I even contemplated it myself.
I also thought that since the pump housing, the broken ring, and the steels don't rotate,I could just put the ring pieces back inso the steels will press squarely against the pump housing.Or find out where I can get a new ring in Germany, but I don't know what its called.
