Oil Selection
I have a 73 Small block 350 that has recently been rebuilt. Mostly stock except new carb and intake. The person who rebuilt engine put in 5W-40. I am up to 1,000 miles now and am wondering what weight to put in. I live in Arizona if that helps. I have oil pressure around 65 at start and down to 25 or so at hot idle.
My friend down the street says he runs straight 30w in his 74.
