Will I be the first?
Is there any one else running Edelbrock's Performer RPM Heads and Cam? Along w/ the Pro Flo F/I it says I will get atleast 435 hp. Has any one usd these heads and cam?

I have a pair of the Performer RPM heads in the garage that I plan to install on my next motor. I'd sure like to hear how you like the cam. I looked close at it for my current motor but chickened out at the last minute and went for the torque.

On my 73, I am running an almost identical setup to the 420HP version on the Edelbrock website. I have the EB Cam, Heads, intake, same compression ratio, and same size carb. I dyno'd 284rwhp/304Tq through a TH350/2500 Stall and 3.08 rearend. My best 1/4 is 13.5 and best mph is 106.5. I have been running this setup for about 10 months, I think if I had a better rearend ratio, I could very easily be in the 12's. I am still in 2nd gear at the end of the 1/4.

I am running a ZZ4 with ProFlo EFI, edelbrock 6085 heads, GM H.O.T. cam and GM 1.6 rockers. Been this way for two years now but you might be the first to have this setup running. I was running the stock ZZ4 and I bought the EFI, heads, cam and rockers and then my heart went bad and now I am computer controlled just like my car! I have had some improvement in my condition and have been working about three months now trying to get it running but with no luck. I think the cam was installed incorrectly (so far everything points to that) and I am now in the process of tear down to check it. Work goes slow but I hope to have it running soon.
Now all I have to worry about is if 450 horses worth of adrenaline will set off my defibrillator :eek: :eek:
