Default Quadrajet Expert Question

I'm trying to recover a Bubba'd Q-Jet... Bubba smacked the accelerator roll pin so hard it eggshaped the outboard roll pin stand. When the arm rotated, the roll pin also moved/rotated. So- I removed the 3/32 roll pin and drilled both holes to 5/32 and cut a 5/32 roll pin to length. Then I drilled the arm to .165 so that the arm would pivot freely on the new roll pin. I'm ready to install the whole thing, but the accelerator pump arm has a bend to it on the outboard end (link end). All of the other Q-Jets I have lying around have a straight accelerator pump arm (flat). Bubba may have bent the arm. Do I flatten it? Or are there applications where the arm is supposed to be slightly bent?

It should be straight.
The forward end may need to be SLIGHTLY bent to hit the middle of the accelerator pump shaft. But not generally.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Thanks.
