Diff oil capacity......how much?

Diff oil capacity......how much?
I'm ready to slot the diff back in, but I want to fill it with oil first. The thing is that I can not find how much it takes anywhere. The Haynes manual is bloody useless!
Anyone have this info please?

Of course that is the obvious thing to do when you have the oil, but I posed the question so that I only need to buy enough oil and not have just as much left over for another diff refill that I don't anticipate needing in the forseeable future. I can buy it in either 1 litre (quart) or 4 litres and I'm sure it doesn't need 4 litres.

The DANA 44 in my '80 took a little less than two 1 qt. bottles of GM gear lube. The left over gear oil was probably due to the posi additive.

Thanks guys...that's set me in the right direction. Just out of curiosity, what is the capacity of the posi lube bottle your put in. I have a small bottle which is 4 fl oz. This was given to me buy the guys who rebuilt the diff and installed the new 3.7s which I'm led to believe is sufficient for the job.
