Default Power windows

How much of a PITA is removing the window motor? None of my manuals say much about this job. Have the door panel off and removed the small motor but there is more...

I did this about a year ago and I think the procedure was outlined in my Chilton's. I remember that it's a tight fit and that some of the work was done by "feel". Be careful of the spring on the regulator as it's very strong and can cause serious damage to fingers. I can't remember if the regulator is an issue when just removing the motor as I've had about 3 different doors apart for windows issues.

I removed 3 bolts and the motor came out very easy. You may want to lock the regulator. Install a bolt through the hole in the regulator to hold it.

I'm  , does the rerulator have to be removed? If so how? Doesn't appear to be near enough room for this. What about locking the regulator with a bolt? I'm really
