Default Testimonial for DeWitts

Just letting you know, I bought your aluminum radiator & dual electric fan combo through Corvette Central for my 1971 Corvette Stingray 454 w/factory AC, and had my mechanic; Curt Odom of Compton Motors in Casa Grande, Arizona install it. I had hoped it would help the engine run a little cooler, but never thought my overheating problem with that big block, factory AC, and the Arizona heat, could ever be cured. Man was I in for a surprise. Even climbing slow mountain roads my temperature gauge stays in the same place. The feeling of security and not having to worry about the car overheating has caused my wife and I to enjoy the car much more. Your product was the best investment we made for our enjoyment of our old corvette. Thank-you, for making a quality product. It has led to a joyful change in our lives.

Thank-you,
Rick O'Neil

Ditto. I think you made the code dated '69 expansion tank I just got from Zip. It looks excellent.

Way to go, Tom DeWitt. That is very cool (sic) to see a post like that. You and your staff of professionals have had my support for a while, too.

I'll be back and keep up the great work on your fine line of cooling products!

I've had Dewitts radiator installed in my 75 for 6 or 7 years now. I have no fear of overheating in any situation. 100 degree stop and go traffic, no issue, the temp never moves past 180. When other vette people see my engine bay they always ask, I tell em, they buy one. I know at least 5 people who have installed them. All say the same.

After spending $$$$$ on an engine, Dewitts rad is a no brainer!

The last place to compromise is a Corvette cooling system.

I have Tom's radiators in my 61, 65 and 68 big block. On average, the temps went down 25 degrees on a warm summer day. They all run about 180 under any conditions. Great radiators. They look correct and cool even better than the originals.

Rick, I know what you mean...I bought a DeWitts BB radiator for my 1970 built 454 and so long as im moving at least 35 mph in 4th gear , the electric fans dont come on...and this is in hot FLorida weather . I dont run an engine thermostat and it makes it even better that with one in --- doesnt take long for it to come up to 180 f. in any case. Ive got the twin fans set to come on at 205 f. and off at 195 f. . Im at 150 h.p. over stock on the motor too. (with a/c) .
