Re: *** Something different for head lights *** (Red73)
What ??!!?? No mention of the C5 logo on the front of a C3 ??!!??
Good, I wanted to do the same but thought every C3 owner would think me a traitor. I just really like the C5 logo, better than that 1980 logo I have now.

There is a lot of nice touch in that car. But still I don't like the lights... Sorry... :bb
If you need some free space why not make the headlight covers to move? Put hinge to the front edge of the cover and electric motor to move the cover. Looks original when the lights are off, but looks personal when the lights are on... Of course this system is heavier than the system which has no moving parts, but I suppose it is lighter than the original vacuum thing...

The Car is owned by Jorg Vogelsang, owner of American Cars & Parts (ACP) in Euskirchen Germany!
The engine puts out over 400Hp from what I've heard. The thing has a complete coil over suspension. Look on their site in the "bildergallerie" they do some amazing stuff!

Thank God that European Corvette Owners aren't afflicted with the "ORIGINAL" disease! It's really nice to see some tasteful creativity and engineering improvements to these cars. Corvettes are NOT 'rare' vehicles, felllas. We Americans should get over it, and try some creativity too.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could rig your lights so that when they were off you could barely tell they were there. Like using a flat fitted cover that was painted body color. Then when you needed them somehow the would appear. Maybe the front of the flat panel could flip up revealing cool dual headlights! I think I could make a set that would work off the cars vacuum system.
Hmmmm......
