The heads are Summit Racing not sure of model number. I do not know anything about pushrods but half of them looked like they are lined up correctly. Haven't checked the ones on the other side.
I missed this, but you'll want to look closely at your pushrod slots. The one and only set of these heads I used where horribly machined - just junk. It's interesting to see Ben call out the Isky adjustable guideplates - that's exactly what we ended up using.
If you look at the pic I posted, you may also want to pull a valve to see if the seat-> bowl transition is as bad as it was on the ones I worked with...
Look very carefully at the end of the valve - it may be worn badly. If it is, the valve must be replaced because it is important for the rocker tip to have a perfectly flat surface on the valve tip.
Also look at that pushrod for straightness. It is most likely bent to some degree.

Wow, those ridges under the exhaust seats are pretty bad. Time for the die grinder and carbides. Almost every head I've ever used gets a few hours touch up work with the die grinder, but those are the worst I've seen.
OP, I'm feeling a bit bad for you. Seems like we've opened the proverbial can of worms for you. Definately pull those heads apart!
If it was my car AND I was planning on keeping it I would tear down the entire top end. Pull the cam & lifters check for wear grooves on the lifters, wiped lobes on the cam etc. Bring the heads to a good head/machine shop and have them thoroughly checked/fixed. Basically start over so that I knew the top end was rebuit properly after I was done. Unfortunately you can never trust a previous owners work.
