Default Fixing my Wiper Switch

I removed the wiper switch from my 79 and took it apart. The only problem is I didnt pay attention to the Willcox article and the little metal ball fell out of the switch. Where does it sit in the switch? You can point to it in my pics if you want.

I don't have experience with that exact switch,
typically the little metal ball is the slider detent,
there should be a spring which pushes on the Ball
as the switch lever is pushed to the next position and normally it kinda stops at the correct position, the ball and Spring make it do that.
hope that helps.

Cool. That helps a lot. I must have lost the spring when the ball fell out. I'll have to look for it or get a new spring.
