Default Holley Metering Block Vent Baffle

Holley Metering Block Vent Baffle B3307 is made out of black plastic instead of the original brass. The catalog pic appears to be brass. Curses. Fooled again. FYI

Yes... that's correct. I didn't want to put the vendors name on here and take the risk of being slammed or banned... so I just put the part number in the post. Have to be politically correct these days. Holley no longer manufactures that vent baffle. It was a simple test of "false advertising". The catalog pic shows what looks to be a brass baffle. When it arrives in the mail it's plastic. I was curious... so I ordered one along with other items. I could have just called them and asked... but the pic looks brass so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The Holley Illustrated Parts & Specs Manual 1975 Weatherly Index 600 indicates in the exploded view 37-1 (p. 246) for a Model 2300-C (4055-1) pic item #90 Metering Body Vent Baffle Holley #59R-37 (p. 247).
