Front bumper extension removal
I am raising the body to replace body mount bushings on a 1976. Most sets of instructions I have seen say there are 2 sets of 4 bolts to disconnect the bumper mount extensions from the frame. I have removed 3 bolts on each side (left one in loose) of the frame extension to the frame and am trying to locate the 4th bolt.
Is it near the other 3 or somewhere else? The AIM looks like it is in front of the other 3 but starts from the inside of the frame rail above the sway bar bushing mount. If that's it, what do I need to remove to access it?
If it's that one it loks like I have to remove the radiator.
If it is somewhere else, where is it and what's the best way to access it??

Are you working on the front or rear? The front bolts are inside the wheel well opening, can't miss them. I changed the mounts on my 79 by only disconnecting the rear and never even loosened the front. It was five years ago, and as I recall, there were four bolts on the back on each side of the steel bumper plate and easily seen. Just raise one side at a time jacking against a piece of lumber along the bonding strip inside the rocker. Just remember to disconnect, or at least be aware of the battery ground to frame, ground by #1 body mount and emergency brake cable as you jack the driver side. You will need to disconnect the fuel line on the passenger side both front and rear. That's all i can think of at the moment. I used at least two jacks. one was to maintain height and the other to raise one end a little more than the other. You can use a length of 2x4 to pry the body from the frame as well. Count your body shims and replace with same stack, or you will have gap issues. Good luck!
