My last installment stated that I had lost my torque while port matching my intake. My numbers on the Desk Top Dyno stated that I should not have lost my torque. Even increased it a bit.
Well it seems I got a little too carried away with the grinder. Looks good but lost all my torque and some hp. Replaced with at stock Weiland Stealth and wa-laa, my torque is back. The engine has come alive  .
So during this ordeal I have learned.
1. Porting - a little goes a long way. Also a new found respect for the guys that can do it!
2. Adjust everything a little at a time. I got down to adjusting my carb / Timing one click/one degree at a time.
3. Patience. Take my time and it will all come together :)
Now maybe I can start working on the body and the interior :yesnod: . It will end one day :jester
Re: Got my Torque Back/Things that I have Learned! (SprintCarDriver)
It will never end!!! :reddevil However these lessons, though sometimes costly, are what makes you appreciate this hot rodding hobby as much as we do.
