I don't know anything about the ep241, but I do know that the 1982 ( and 1984 ) Corvette had throttle body injection, TBI, and these use much less fuel pressure than EFI, even though a TBI is a form of EFI. ( It is an electrically powered fuel injector! ) I think that TBI uses around 12 psi, but modern EFI engines need 45 to 55 psi. So 35-40 is too low for what you need.
