stripped ,sanded,polished & installed valve covers
snapped a pic right befpore the sun went down ,hope they turned out o.k.this is a well worth project..replaced with new cork gasket,looks good no leaks :yesnod:

oopps..i didnt do that..how fast are these gonna tarnish? i never did my wheels either and they seem to be holding up pretty good so far.i noticed that most of the clear coated parts ive seen seem to yellow abit..is there something new out there that does a better job without this yellowing problem? let me know please ,i should prob. do the wheels and covers at the same time,after one more good polish offcourse.. :cheers:

Looks :cool: :cool: :cool: . Make sue you'll have them clearcoated or you end up polishing them on every night after a sping around the block... :D

Looks nice! I saw someone here had painted their covers red then sanded the fins, looked pretty slick. I kind of like red, if you can't tell :jester

i was thinking of doing that in black..now that i seen it in red,wow it looks :cool: since i didnt clearcoat and it seem i should i think i will try something like that,it really stands out :cheers:
