gasket?
Another dumb question as I get back to the 77...
Putting on a new master cylinder - is there suppose to be a gasket between the m/c and power brake booster?
Was really hard to tell after taking the original off just this week and the new didn't come with one and I don't see one listed at the parts store...

No because there better not be any fluid between the master cylinder and the brake booster!!!
If there was fluid in there its because the seals in the master cylinder was leaking , bad thing it let go long enough and it could have made it to your carpet!!!

Thanks Tim, wasn't sure with the metal to metal contact on the booster and no way to tell after removing the original.
Unfortunately, I did have fluid there, but it looks like the booster rod and rubber is OK....
