What studs/bolts for Dart SHP?
So I was wondering what others have used to bolt their Dart SHP aluminum heads to their block with. There's just too many choices for me to decide lol

Melting Slicks
Stock bolts with hardened washers; just ensure that they are of adequate length for your gasket and washer thickness.

Bolts is a 134-3601 ARP
Studs I use a 234-4332 These are a .950 reach stud I bottom tap the holes drop a ball bearing in the bolt hole to bottom the stud out on the ball bearing VS using the short studs which bottom out on the deck and on the large bore block its hard to maintain a round cylinder when a stud is bottomed out on the deck.
This is also recomended by Richard Maskins owner of Dart!!

I didn't go with dart heads, used ARP-134-3701 with the aluminum head that I went with. Came with washers & moly lube. the only difference between them and the ARP-134-3601 is the head shape, it is some times easier to retorque the head bolts with the 12 point as it uses a smaller socket. Studs are supposed to be the strongest. I am not a fan of reusing head bolts, You probably can and might not have any issues, but new bolts are cheap insurance.

So apparently I was confused, when I did the heads on the l48, edelbrock advertised the 12 point bolt as the one that you didn't have to remove the rockers to retorque the heads after intial start up. This probably don't hold the same for ARP. So then why the 12 point?
