Front springs worn ????
I have noticed a difference between the clearance at fender to tire in the front of about 1" or 2 . Could this be my front springs ? I checked the frame and it looks to be ok . Can the springs wearout at uneven rates ? travis

If frame heights are the same side to side, it ain't the springs.
Springs can take a "set", if the car is driven with only one occupant most of the time, the left side will be generally lower. Also, constant sudden & severe applications of torque will do the same, as will a bent or sticking shock, or other binding in the suspension.
Hope this helps.

do you have a/c? If so, is it the right side that is lower? Som of the compressors can add considerable weight to that side of the car.

Measure the distance from the ground thru the centerline of the hubcaps to the fender lip. See what the factory specs for your year car is, in the AIM. My 72 was about an inch low before I rebuilt the front susp. I did not replace the springs. It brought the ride height back to normal.
