ok,
you can do the vintige air, it is costly. The one that came with our cars will work, just needs to be brought up to speed. new dryer and fix the leaks in the vents,,, if the vent tubes are even still there. mine gets good and cold.
as for the shifter... hurst will sell you one for 79,,, but not 80!! i asked and can not get an answer. I rebuilt the shifter i have and it works ok, but it will never be a short throw. sometime you just have to learn to live with it... i don't like it, but i have learned to....
