The problem with PS fluid leaks is that the fluid gets blown around and can cover a lot of good components as well as bad. You will need to get under their and wipe things down real good. (You may want to use a detergent like Simple Green to really get the oil off the parts.) Then start things up and carefully inspect the parts after quick start-ups and static steers to quick full locks and then cool downs.

After being many times frustrated chasing leaks,decided to replace the stock power steering box with the Borgeson box.This unit is worth the money,no leaky components and the Vette steers great! Been on for several years now with no problems.....

The condition of the steering components all look physically undamaged(except the rag joint). Not sure if you think otherwise from what can be seen in the picture.
And I'm not sure which bearing you mean to replace when changing the rag joint.
