Rear Alignment
Do I need to reset the whole rear alignment (toe etc.)or can I just reset the camber?
I don't have any idea how to set camber but will it kill my new tires to drive it up to an alignment shop with it being off?
thanks
Set your adjustment cams so the bolt is about centered. Set the car down and drive it back and forth about 10 feet a couple times. I ususally dirve mine out into the street and back into the driveway again. Then take a look from behind the car. If the tires are close to straight up and down it should be ok to drive to the shop. I used a two foot level and set it on the side of the tire and set the camber so that the tires leaned in at the top until the bubble touched the inside line. It took twice jacking up and adjusting to get it right. With that setting you could probably drive it for many miles without much damage to the tires.
