Default Front Spring Help

Just replaced my upper and lower ball joints. Now, I can seem to my spring to line up correctly at the top. Suggestions. Already removed the shock and used a spring compressor but it wont budge.

As you raise the spring up you have to nudge it over into the upper spring pocket with a crowbar. Put the bar at the outside edge of the upper tower and pry the spring over a little as it's going up.

You may have to play with the jack a little to get enough free play to move the top of the spring around until you can see 1/2 of the inspection hole covered by the end of the spring. I stuck a screwdriver into the inspection hole and rotated the spring until it hit the screwdriver.

Default Now new problem

Ok, so had to drop the upper ball joints to get the spring and spring compressor out. Spring is now seated.

However, its comedy in the garage day. Replaced the upper and lower ball joints then couldn't get the control arm to go back all the way to allow me to attached the upper ball joint to the wheel assembly.

So, I used a coil spring compressor, which knocked my spring into the wrong area. Was able to get the upper ball joint attached but then couldnt get the damn spring compressor out of the spring. Released everything (again!) and now stuck with the original issue. Control arm wont go up into place. When I use a jack, it lifts the car. The engine is out so I am sure that is probable my issue.

Ideas?
