Help! Power doors sticking
my door locks on my 79 dont work very well.... for one thing, the post/lock button- the one by the door handle on the interior- is sticking out farther on the drivers side than the passenger side. when it is locked, the driver side lock sticks out like 1" and the passenger side is almost flush with the hole! also, they stick real bad. when you hit the switch, you can tell it tried to lock/ unlock the door but it cant because it is so stiff on both sides. sometimes itll get one side locked/unlocked but not the other!!! any suggestions?

Had this problem on my 80. I removed the power lock motors and the door latch assembly. Cleaned them real good. I soaked the door latch assembly overnight in some drgreaser and then greased them up. It cleared up my power lock problem and even made the outter door handle work better.
