Bizzare situation with 82 corvette
I dropped a 406 with AFR headers, Super victor intake and a Holley 750 into my 82 vette. The hood clearance is too low for the intake, therefore I am planning on cutting a hole for clearance and having a scoop mounted and finished on top of the aftermarket L88 hood that is on the car.
My problem started when I began the layout for the hole....the centering stud I have in the carb is 1 3/4" off center to the passenger side!!!!! A buddy thinks this is because they had to make room for the steering components..HELP!!!!
