Just playing a little devil's advocate but most aftermarket clutch vendors don't actually MAKE their own pressure plates- They refurbish used cores with their own components.
My Center Force Dual Friction pressure plate also says Sachs on it but it's painted orange and has the Center Force guts in it.
You may want to talk to the source directly before openly roasting them prematurely.
