I think that is one of the reasons people install hydroboosts, in order to make clearance for tall valve covers.
The only thing I would say that many people don't take into consideration with tall valve covers, is that they can make it a PITA to get at the distributor hold down bolt. At least they can on a small block, never dealt with tall valve covers on a bigblock.
Keep the shiny side up!

You are asking a trick question. I have a 72 big block with hydroboost.
Hydroboost solves one of the clearance issues but "clear everything" depends on the covers you order (cast aluminum or stamped steel). I have a really old pair of standard height Cal Custom cast aluminum covers and the driver side actually cleared the vacuum canister just fine. The hydroboost completely eliminated the clearance issue on the driver side.
Some other clearance issues may include the alternator and the A/C heater box.
Here's the clearance at the hydroboost. I think you have tons of room for tall valve covers in that area.
Here's the clearance at the alternator. Not sure if it's clear but there are no fins on the lower half of the front of the cover.
Here's the clearance at the A/C box. I believe the heater only box is quite a bit smaller.
