On my 69 Im installing the hyd clutch setup on the firewall.
The instruction say to align the cylinder and rod to the center of the clutch rod hole and tilt it a little to the drivers side to point it towards the clutch rod pin on the pedal. my problem is that the new rod does not reach the pin/stud on the clutch pedal and is about an inch lower also.
I dont get it, anyone install one of these, I need pics please.
Thanks:
Tom

Somebody will provide a Picture or use the Search feture above and You will find Pictures. If I remember Keisler provides a Wilood Master and some sort of adapter. Was Your car originaly a Clutch Car? If so it goes in an indentation at the Clutch Rod hole in the firewall. Then they are telling You to roll it a bit to the Drivers side. As far as reaching the Clutch Petal If I remember right I had the same issue and had to add some to get it the right length. My car was an Aoto so I had to add everything petals ect.
I found 2 pics by a search but I shouldnt have to modify this thing
As I explained in the link from 69FASTFUN, I had to add a piece to the rod. I called Keisler to let them know about the rod length and what I think should be a turnbuckle but is not.
Both changes are easy to make, but they didn't seem to think either issue I had is a problem with the design, at least not serious enough to change. The non-turnbuckle and rod length are the only compaints I have with their hydraulic clutch.
Sorry to hear of your particular install issue. Unfortunately, these cars all vary to some degree, so it's near impossible to get each kit to fit exactly, each and every time. Easiest thing is to take pictures of your issues, and send them to me: chris.hale@keislerauto.com, and I will do my level best to help solve your problems. Thanks.
