78 Engine Swap

So after I get the wiring problem fixed Im considering putting a new engine in. After looking on the forums I came across this engine http://www.enginefactory.com/350hp.htm from what I have read about putting it into a 78 it doesnt require a lot of other work like chassis reinforcement or anything like that. If anyones familiar with crate engine swaps what am I getting into here and am I on the right track. Im looking to add more hp but nothing crazy just want more responsiveness behind the pedal. thanks

$5800 ... too much for 350hp ... lotsa dough for lotsa cheap chrome & BS.

look at year one 400hp roller cam crate for $3000 ... year one p/n CT350PC1

Why put in a new engine? Is the current one running fairly well? How many miles are on it?

Engine is fine it only has 53k im just looking for more speed. I was debating if I should work off the original engine or just get a crate motor. What are the basic upgrades I can do to the current engine? Cams, headers intake? This is my first project car so im all ears to suggestions.
