HESITANT START AFTER WARM.

Drove my 79 today and have noticed after I run it , it kind of hesitates to start, really slow, not a fast engine turnover like when it is cold. What could cause this??

Sounds like "heat soak".When the starter gets to hot it turns slow,or not at all.Do you run with headers and a original starter?

I would have to say heat soak too. If it starts up right away when cold thats a good sign of "soak"

SUMMIT has a remote solinoild kit for 25 bucks, complete kit with all the pieces...........very easy to do , put one on my 66 big/block resolved hot start problem completely , I put solinoid on firwall neat to heater box..worked for me.... :)
