well it's either gas or spark. Twist and pull one of the spark plug wires off at a plug and insert a insulated screwdriver into the end of the wire. While holding the insulated end of the screwdriver hold the metal shaft near any metallic part of the engine while someone tries to start the car. If you have a spark we now have to check for fuel. Remove the air cleaner assembly and look down the front/primary side of the carburetor, you may have to hold the choke blade open. Manually move the throttle assembly and you should see gas squirt into the front half.
