I'm ready to make an $1100 order through summit, and was wondering if anyone has a summit bucks code that they won't be using and would like to donate it to my cause?

Only time I've seen Summit Bucks, is when buying certain products, or sometimes they'll send me discount codes during the slow winter months. Wouldn't exactly call April-May slow engine building months though. Maybe try a quick note to Summit your intent on dropping a $1K+ order with them, and see what they'll do. It's only logical, they'll respond to a bulk order like that, as saves them lots of handling expenses, of several smaller orders.

I've emailed and called with no luck. So, it looks like no discount this time. I have a buddy that get's dealer prices through them, but after shipping it from him to me it wouldn't be much different

I don't know about dealer price customers, but since shipping is based on the order total, not distance shipped, why can't your buddy have the order shipped from Summit to you instead of his address?
