Seat swap
Please excuse my ignorance. I know this has to have been discussed before but I cannot find anything on it
I have a 70 convertible I am trying to restore. The present seats need recovering so I am thinking of putting C4 or C5 seats in it
Will this be a simple swap or a major overhaul ?

I just found a set of Recaro LXFs at a pick-n-pull, in, of all things, a Chevy Lumina. Doing some repairs and new upholstery now. They're going to be light-years ahead of the stock 77 seats. $65 for the pair out the door. The slider assemblies are about $100 for each side, the seats run around $800+ new depending on upholstery options.

To the O/P, I'm looking at some C-6 Z06 seats now but concerned with the height. I plan on pulling the motors and mounting them on some flat stock. do the search mentioned above, there are plenty of threads with pix and how tos...
