Default Crate engine idle RPM
Having someone replaced the stock L48 motor with a crate one for a 74 vette, how do I know which is the correct idle RPM for this crate engine? Stock for manual trans, according to 74 AIM, was 900 RPM but it seems too much IMHO...

If it doesnt have a radical cam, 750 should be fine.
