Default stock electric fan CFM

Anyone know what the CFM the stock electric fans are rated for on the later C3s? I was wondering if I could put in a lower temp on/off switch and get rid of the mechanical fan.

If not, does anyone know if the stock electrical circuit could handle a single Spal 16" fan?

This is a stock engine. with manual transmission.

Thanks

Keep the stock mechanical and electric fans. Make sure the support and shroud seals are good.

I have no cooling problems and the temp never goes higher then 200-210.
I just want to get rid of the stock mechanical fan. Nothing anyone can say will change my mind, I hate them. In my Silverado I swapped in F-body LS1 fans and had the PCM reflashed to control them, just to get rid of it.

I'm going to try a 210*on/195* off switch and drive around with my mechanical fan and a 1/2" wrench in the back just in case. If it keeps it cool I'll add a relay to the circuit and possibly a single 16" later on.

I would think you don't even need to drive it. Just let it idle in the driveway and see where the temp goes and how the fan works. Heat soak when sitting still is the worst case. You shouldn't need either fan when moving.
