Default Fuse Panel Wiring Help Please, 1981

Hi - I'm trying to troubleshoot a couple electrical issues; 1) power mirrors do not move, and 2) power antenna is up and stays there. So I start at the fuse panel; the manual says check the courtesy light and radio fuses - both good. However I notice that my courtesy lights also do not come on when opening a door. The bulb is ok since I can turn it on with the headlight switch (a item number 3 for later).

I am large and it just really sucks to try to do anything with the fuse panel where it is, so hoping for some help with a couple observations before I get back in there. Just getting those fuses out and back in was a chore!! The first thing I notice is a single brown wire that appears to have been cut. One end goes under the carpet on the far left side, just behind the vent opening. The other end goes to an ACC plug on the upper right side of the fuse panel, which can be seen in the picture, above the red RADIO fuse. So what is this?! Can't find anything in the manual or even the electrical schematics that I have...everything just shows this blank.

Second, there is a two wire plug just dangling there to the left. Thick orange wire and thinner green wire. I've tried and I just can not see where the heck this thing plugs into, and I'm hoping it's got to be the cause of either my mirrors or antenna problems. Where does it go?!

More info on the power antenna. There are what appears to be two relays in the comaprtment behind the passenger seat, though the manual says only one? Again, a real pain to get my head in a position where I can see in there at all let alone DO anything...but when I turn the radio on and off, I can feel and hear the relays clicking. One side for on, the other for off. So power is getting to these relays and they're reading the radio on/off switch....but nothing happening with the motor/mast.

Any help greatly appreciated!!

Perry

the plug (orange / green) probably went to the door open buzzer, it was a box that plugged into the fuse panel, probably pulled and thrown away.

radio antenna, plastic mast rod is probably broken inside, so was most likely unplugged at the antenna or relay to stop it from running.
