Default Tralingarm rebuild

Hi,

The big bolt in the end of the spindel, how much fl-lbs do I have to give it?

Also, I think that the complet setup is a bit tight, I used the spindel tool and used .0115 in both tralingsarms. But I think the "setup" is a bit "tight"

Can anyone tell me, or send a link so I can get an iead how tight/loss the "setup" must be.

Thanks all

/John

There are some really detailed posts on this subject. Just use "Search". I recently did mine, and if I remember correctly the spec for spindle end play is .004 to .008. Now that's in INCHES, you'll have to convert to metric.

The torque spec is 100 lb/ft, plus whatever is required to align the holes for the cotter pin.

Clearance spec is .001" to .008". Most rebuilders aim towards the lower part of this range. Do not put your arms back into service unless you're sure there's at least .001" end play.
