That was why I asked about using the oval pipe was to get a larger 'chamber' to help balance the flow. Instead of a 2 1/2" pipe with a 2 1/2" H-Pipe I wondered aboout using an Oval Pipe that would give more volume. JIM
If I remember correctly, recommendation is for same volume of pipe for crossover, and smaller or larger not recommended, however some use oval pipe (same volume as rest of exhaust system), since oval shape may present fewer pipe to ground clearance problems.
