Default T56 6speed guys, which offset shifter?

I know McLeod makes a shifter that will work but which part number and what offsets? I'm using T56 out of a GTO.

Thanks

I just can't keep my eyes on the right side, I think you need to change your avatar 1st before getting any good answer!

Seriously your avatar is really distracting!

I have an LT1 T56 in mine and need to figure this out also. I talked to McLeod yesterday they can only do left 1" and forward 1.15", 1.30" or 1.80" and cost is $295 + shipping for the base without the stick.

I have a B&M Ripper i am thinking of cutting it and building a bracket that fits over and bolts to it to space it about 1 1/2" at an angle....has anyone tried this yet?

I'm interested in your shifter, but they are $285 new. Does your price include anything besides the shifter?

There is pics of the shifter on the tread that I posted ( G-Force t56 complit package bolt on kit ) Few years back I paid close to $400 for it from Mcleod, lowest I'll go on the price is $250 plus shipping.

DVG73 has Red's on his and it jumps out of third. It's going to be a pain in the a$$ to pull everything out to re-adjust.

You can make one yourself pretty easily.

It's a factory Hurst shifter. It has a nice tight shift pattern that fits easily into the stock opening. I bought a rebuilt unit on ebay.

I'll see if I can find it but it's really not hard to figure out. Measure the travel between 1st and 2nd, and over to reverse. Set your console over the shifter and measure how far over to the center of the shifter hole. If you use the Hurst shifter the pattern is so close that it's hard to screw up.

I'll have to get measurements next time I take my console apart. For now I could only share a couple photos of mine. It's a Hurst Billet/Plus shifter that I modded.
